Job description

The successful applicant will join an innovative and expert team within the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust, primarily based at the echocardiography service at Finchley Memorial Hospital, a well‑established Community Diagnostic Centre. There will be opportunities to rotate through all the sites for training and development purposes.

The post holder will be expected to:

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate expertise in echocardiography ensuring that the service model provides demonstrably high‑quality patient care within financial and clinical targets.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the full range of investigations.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities, provide support to junior team members and carry out organisational and supervisory duties. Participate in developing shift rotas, including weekend work.
  • Demonstrate a professional approach to patient care and be able to communicate with patients clearly. Effectively communicate within the Community Diagnostic Centre’s and other departments throughout the Trust.
