Job Title: MRI Radiographer

Location: Hereford, Herefordshire

Banding: Band 7

Start: March

Duration: Ongoing

Rate: £30–£31 per hour

Working hours: Monday to Sunday, 3/4x 0800-2000

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 MRI Radiographer with GE experience to join our client’s team in Hereford. This role involves providing high-quality MRI imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostics. The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the overall efficiency of our radiography services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing MRI scans using GE equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Preparing patients for procedures, operating MRI equipment, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Developing imaging protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the radiology team to optimise patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Radiographer with the HCPC
  • Minimum of 3 years of MRI radiography experience
  • Strong knowledge of MRI techniques and safety protocols
  • Experience with GE MRI equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency in MRI equipment and radiology information systems
