Qualifications

  • Degree in Pharmacy or relevant qualification for Pharmacy Technician.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
  • Extensive experience in aseptic or radiopharmacy processes.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Section 10 Aseptic or Radiopharmacy Quality Assurance or Control.
  • Minimum of 3 years NHS experience (desirable).

Job Title: Pharmacist / Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 7/8a Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Start: ASAP Duration: 4 months Rate: £28 - £37 per hour Working hours: Full time, 08:30am – 17:30pm

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 or Band 8a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and control. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' patients and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our pharmacy services.

What will your responsibilities be :

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing aseptic or radiopharmacy processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. You will conduct quality assurance and control activities, including the preparation and review of documentation, audits, and risk assessments. You will provide expert advice and support to the pharmacy team, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your role will also involve training and mentoring junior staff, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
