Job Description:
We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Podiatrist to join our team in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. This role is available for an immediate start and is initially offered for a 3-month duration. While full-time availability is preferred, part-time applications will also be considered. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have the right to work in the UK. You will be responsible for providing podiatric care with a focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) and biomechanics issues within the community setting. This role requires experience in MSK and biomechanics to effectively manage a diverse caseload in a community area.
What your responsibilities will be for this Podiatry role?
The Band 6 Locum Podiatrist you will deliver comprehensive podiatric assessments and treatments, specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) and biomechanics issues. Your responsibilities will include managing a varied caseload within the community, addressing conditions such as foot and lower limb pain, gait abnormalities, and biomechanical imbalances. You will develop and implement individualised treatment plans, working closely with patients to improve their mobility and quality of life. Effective communication with patients and collaboration with other healthcare professionals will be key to providing integrated care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development and best practices within the community podiatry team.
