We are seeking a Band 6/7 Biomedical Scientist to join the Clinical Biochemistry Team in Aylesbury. This full-time locum role offers competitive pay and the opportunity to work within a specialist department using modern equipment and techniques. You will rotate across various laboratory sub-sections, contributing to accurate diagnostic services and supporting high‑quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on patient samples across four laboratory sub‑sections on a rotational basis.
• Deliver accurate and timely results within Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology using state‑of‑the‑art analysers.
• Maintain and manage laboratory equipment including Architect, Tosoh, Osmo 1, Chlorochek, HM‑JACK, UVikon and Helena V8.
• Participate in cross‑disciplinary work following suitable training.
• Support the out‑of‑hours rota as required across Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Wycombe Hospital.
• Contribute to personnel management and uphold quality and safety standards within the laboratory.
