Band 5 Staff Nurse - Dorrell Ward (ENT / Ophthalmology). This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified nurse to join our accredited team on Dorrell Ward. We provide high quality nursing care in the specialities of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and Ophthalmology.
Dorrell ward is comprised of 13 in-patient beds, an ENT Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) and Eye Day Bed Unit offering an interesting and varied workload.
We are looking for enthusiastic highly motivated individuals with excellent communication, leadership and team building skills to join our friendly and dynamic team in providing the best possible care for our patients.
Informal visits to the unit are welcome so you can come and see us and discuss your needs and see the way that care is delivered.
The postholder is responsible for undertaking and recording a comprehensive nursing assessment and planning, delivering and evaluating high standards of evidenced based nursing care to a diverse group of patients.

With excellent leisure and shopping facilities, and a thriving cultural scene, Reading is a wonderful place to live, work and play and provides excellent facilities for families, including some of the best state and private schools in the UK.
