Overview

A key aspect of this role is maintaining high quality care in a positive, stimulating and safe environment. You will be one of the staff nurses working in the four bedded health unit focusing on delivering high quality clinical care for children with complex health needs in our health team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high quality care and a positive, stimulating and safe environment for children and families.
  • Deliver high quality clinical care for children with complex health needs as part of a multidisciplinary inter-agency framework.
  • Provide continuing care for children and young people with complex health needs and learning disabilities within a homely environment.
  • Meet the health and social care needs of children, young people and their families.
Qualifications
  • Band 5 staff nurse with paediatric or learning disability experience ideally community experience.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English to an appropriate standard.
  • Have a background in paediatric or learning disability nursing and experience working with children and families with complex health conditions.
