Job description
Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join us working within an integrated citywide team delivering care to People with Learning Disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload, including communication and dysphagia, with the support and guidance of senior clinicians.
  • Operate in a multidisciplinary, patient-centred approach to meet patients’ needs and contribute to service development.
  • Be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team based within our Community Hubs. Clinical support and supervision will be available from within the Speech and Language Therapy Team. The post holder will also receive managerial supervision and support from within the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications and Development

Previous experience in learning disabilities is not essential as professional development and clinical supervision are given high priority.
