Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am – 17:00 pm

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: Ongoing

Rate: £16 - £20/ hour (Dependant on experience)

Job Overview

As a Band 5 Clinical Pharmacy Technician you will work within the Pharmacy Department at this busy NHS Trust, supporting delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred medicines optimisation services. You will work closely with pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality clinical pharmacy support across inpatient areas, contributing to improved patient outcomes and the efficient use of medicines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake medicines reconciliation for patients on admission, transfer and discharge
  • Support Ward-Based clinical pharmacy services alongside pharmacists
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to optimise medicines use
  • Provide accurate medicines-related information to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with local policies, national guidance, and NHS Standards
  • Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate clinical and pharmacy documentation
