A leading healthcare provider in Abbots Langley is offering a fixed-term opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Practitioner in Outpatient Physiotherapy. You will assess, treat, and support routine MSK patients under the guidance of qualified physiotherapists. Ideal candidates will have a good education up to GCSE, NVQ Level III in a health-related subject, and experience in the NHS as a therapy assistant. We have an exciting fixed‑term opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Practitioner to join a friendly and forward‑thinking Outpatient Physiotherapy department at our Jacketts Field, Abbots Langley site. You will be supported by a Band 7/6 qualified Physiotherapist through a well‑established supervision process and will receive robust training, in‑service training opportunities and further development in both 1:1 and group‑based clinical activities.
You will be assessing, treating, progressing and discharging routine MSK patients, including trauma and elective post‑operative orthopaedic presentations. You will run group exercise sessions (e.g. TKR classes, lower limb classes) and support our qualified staff in joint treatment sessions when appropriate.
