THE EMPLOYER IS: DESSERTCO LTDWe’re looking for a motivated and friendly individual to join our team through the JobStart Scheme.This role offers hands-on experience in a professional bakery environment, helping to prepare and present our signature desserts while learning key food production skills.Full training will be provided - no previous bakery experience required, just enthusiasm and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, and portion ingredients under supervision.
• Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and weighing scales safely.
• Package, label, and display finished products ready for sale.
• Keep the bakery area clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Support stock management and ingredient rotation (FIFO).
