Earn between £482.85 and £535.76 gross per week on rolling temporary contracts—not seasonal.

About the Role

As a Back Check Inspection Operative at Schneider Electric in Eastfield, you will play a crucial role in our production processes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections according to technical specifications on electronic components and systems to ensure safety, quality and compliance.
  • Identify and document defects, faults and non‑compliance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports of findings.
  • Operate equipment safely and set up automated inspection routines.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
  • Keep the workplace clean and organised.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Apply standardised processes for manufacturing and basic maintenance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to established quality, safety and environmental standards.
  • Identify and communicate risks related to health, safety, quality and the environment to the Team Leader.
  • Report incidents and near misses, applying the escalation process for deviations.
  • Process orders accurately and promptly.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
