Overview

Service Sales – Birmingham. Warm leads and open area. Role involves selling fire and security service contracts to B2B customers, including shops and commercial environments. Suitable for those with experience in Fire Alarm, Fire & Security, or related service sales. Hybrid company car with home-based work and travel to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Follow up leads for extinguishers, CCTV, intruder alarms, Fire Risk Assessments (FRA) and close them to complete the sales process.
  • Sell FRA and fire and security service contracts to business customers; use existing experience to cost and close sales in fire alarm/security domains.
  • Provide quotes, present proposals, and follow up until sale is completed.
  • Generate own leads when out and about and earn commission on sales; work from an open lead area with provided leads.
  • Support from a manager with up to a month of training.
Ideal/Optional Qualifications
  • Ideally have Fire Alarm or Fire & Security sales skills and current selling experience, including surveying, core commercial selling, system sales, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of cost estimation and closing sales in Fire Alarm/Risk Assessments or service contract sales within fire and security.
  • Alternatively, if you are a Fire Alarm or Fire & Security engineer seeking progression off the tools to a sales or survey/engineer role.
  • Optional transition for candidates with B2B service sales experience (e.g., cleaning, washroom, stationary, maintenance services) who sell repeat orders or service contracts.
  • Available to apply if you have B2B service contract selling experience or Fire Alarm/security/FRA maintenance contract sales experience.
