Job description

Gama Aviation is a reputable Business Aviation company operating fixed‑wing and rotary aircraft. We are growing and securing exciting contracts. A position has opened for a B2 Licensed Engineer to join our Rotary Base Maintenance team at the Staverton facility. The engineer will work a 6‑4‑4 shift pattern, provide engineering support for scheduled maintenance, defect investigation, and modification embodiment, expedite base maintenance CRS timeframes, and assist AOG recovery during sickness or holiday periods.

Responsibilities
  • Complete and certify electrical and avionic system tasks as defined in the MOE, either directly or through non‑certifying engineers.
  • Complete all paperwork and documentation.
  • Issue approved materials via the company’s Corridor system.
  • Use approved tools and ground support equipment.
  • Carry out work safely, considering risk to personnel, property, and reputation.
  • Maintain an appropriate working environment for the task.
  • Account for all tooling before returning it to service.
  • Complete post‑maintenance actions.
  • Document maintenance in the Maintenance Status Report.
  • Report defects to the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
  • Report health, safety, or flight safety issues via iQSMS.
  • Perform additional duties directed by the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
Qualifications
  • Valid EASA or UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence (B2).
