This is a hands‑on development role focused on building and maintaining AWS‑based solutions that support the platform’s innovations, including AI models and automation components. While familiarity with DevOps practices is important, this is primarily a coding and solution development role , not a pure infrastructure or tooling position.

The role is based in London or Leeds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to route‑to‑live processes for new features and innovations hosted on AWS.
  • Implement secure, efficient solutions aligned with the development standards for handling sensitive data.
  • Collaborate with case management and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration and release processes.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise AWS‑hosted services for performance and reliability.
  • Apply DevOps principles where relevant (e.g., run CI/CD pipelines), but with a strong focus on application development.
Must‑Have Qualifications
  • Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda essential).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript / JavaScript and / or Node.js for backend development or other programming languages but able to provide and explain real‑world examples through experience.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Connect and / or AI model deployment on AWS.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
  • Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for deployment automation.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud Voice integration.
