Responsibilities

In this role, you will design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Your accountabilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Ensuring code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
  • Participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Staying informed of industry technology trends and contributing to the organization's technology communities.
  • Adhering to secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementing effective unit testing practices for code design, readability, and reliability.
  • For those in a leadership role, advising and influencing decision-making, contributing to policy development, and leading a team performing complex tasks. You will set objectives, coach employees, and appraise performance in alignment with our leadership expectations.

This role is based out of our Canary Wharf London Office and presents a unique opportunity to work closely with the development lead while taking ownership of technical components.
