About the Role

Cove UK is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic AV Technician to join our Technical Team at our award‑winning holiday park. In this hands‑on role, you’ll help deliver high‑quality entertainment and guest experiences by ensuring all audiovisual systems, lighting, and technical setups run smoothly across our venues and facilities.

You’ll work across a variety of entertainment spaces — from outdoor stages and show bars to family venues and activity areas — supporting Theatre style productions, live music and special events. Your technical expertise will help create the memorable moments that make our guests return year after year.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain AV, sound, and lighting systems for live entertainment, events, and activities across the park
• Provide on‑site technical support during performances and events
• Carry out routine checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV and lighting equipment
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and testing of new systems or upgrades
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety regulations
• Support the wider Technical and Entertainment Teams to deliver seamless, high‑quality experiences
• Report technical faults or issues promptly and assist with repairs or solutions

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an AV or technical support role (holiday park, theatre, or hospitality setting preferred)
• Good practical knowledge of audio, lighting, and video systems
• Experience with equipment such as QLab, DMX lighting, or digital audio desks (desirable but not essential)
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and maintenance procedures
• Organised, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of the entertainment schedule
