A rapidly growing engineering company in the UK is seeking a Service Engineer who will work autonomously on maintenance and operations throughout the country. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or Plant Maintenance, or be willing to obtain it. Strong interpersonal skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving are essential. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and nights and involves customer engagement on-site.

Qualifications

• Willing to train towards NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or Plant Maintenance.
• Exposure to off-highway or agricultural machinery is a plus.
• Must have knowledge of 12V and 24V electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Achieving hands-on operating and maintenance experience on equipment.
• Carrying out pre-start checks and quality assurance documentation.
• Testing plant to ensure safe and proper operation.
