Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting an experienced Service Advisor for a franchised dealership in Gatwick. You will be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring a first-class Aftersales journey from booking to collection.

This full-time, permanent role offers a £32,000 base salary with an OTE of £38,000 and uncapped bonus potential. You'll join a friendly Aftersales team with ongoing manufacturer training and clear opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor or similar automotive role.
• Experience in franchised dealership or automotive aftersales environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers.
• Clear explanations of repairs and requirements.
• Strong organisational skills for multiple enquiries.
• Proactive approach to upselling and targets.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining service quality.
• Experience using Kerridge/ADP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Booking vehicle servicing, MOTs, maintenance and repairs.
• Welcoming customers and understanding their vehicle requirements.
• Advising on repairs, warranty cover and add-ons.
• Upselling relevant products or services to customers.
• Liaising with workshop and Aftersales to organise appointments.
• Managing high volume of enquiries by phone and online bookings.
• Keeping customers informed of progress and costs.
• Providing regular updates throughout the journey.
• Ensuring accurate customer data and bookings in dealership systems.
• Delivering excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
