Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join a busy, professional dealership. You will earn £30,000 basic with additional commission through service plan sales, offering a strong earning potential and a good work-life balance with a Saturday rota of 1 in 4.

You will be the key contact between customers and the workshop, ensuring a professional service from booking to collection, while pursuing career development within a supported, automotive business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Experience using Kerridge, 1 Link, Pinnacle or a similar Dealer Management System (DMS).
• A proven track record of upselling additional products, services, and service plans.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy dealership environment.
• A positive, professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks).

Responsibilities

• Managing service and repair bookings efficiently.
• Coordinating workshop loading to maximise productivity.
• Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Identifying and upselling additional work where appropriate.
• Promoting service plans and manufacturer offers.
• Liaising closely with technicians to ensure repairs are completed on time.
• Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records.
• Delivering outstanding customer service at every stage of the journey.
