Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Birmingham seeks an experienced Service Advisor to join the busy Aftersales team. You will be the main contact for customers, coordinating bookings for servicing, MOTs and repairs, and liaising with technicians to ensure timely updates and costs are communicated clearly.

The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £30,000, with additional bonus and ongoing manufacturer training. You will play a key part in delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced dealership

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade is essential.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Experience upselling additional work, products or services.
• Comfortable using dealership management systems such as Keyloop, eDynamix or 1link.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A professional, positive and customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and booking vehicles in for servicing, MOTs and repairs.
• Acting as the main point of contact throughout the service and repair process.
• Liaising with technicians and workshop colleagues to monitor work in progress.
• Keeping customers informed of repair updates, costs and completion times.
• Explaining recommended repairs and additional work clearly.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
• Preparing invoices and ensuring accurate customer records.
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
