One to One Personnel Limited is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor in Farnborough to oversee service reception activities and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage bookings, liaise with customers, and support workshop operations to keep the service flow smooth and efficient.

Ideal candidates will combine motor vehicle knowledge with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work within a busy team while maintaining high standards of service delivery

Responsabilités

• Control and maximise service and repair bookings with courteous, efficient customer handling
• Support and maintain customer service schedules, MOT and licence requirements
• Audit work orders and service documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure service and inspection documentation are completed and procedures followed
• Assist in maintaining daily flow of quality job cards to administration for costing/invoicing
• Ensure health and safety and safe work practices at all times
• Issue sublet order numbers to specialists and arrange planned works
• Respond to phone and walk-in enquiries with proper greetings
• Update DMS marketing records for existing or new customers
• Raise job cards for each vehicle with complete supporting documentation
• Promote other services and products to customers
• Liaise with service advisors, parts staff and workshop controller

Are you a customer-focused automotive professional with strong organisational skills and a good level of technical awareness? We’re looking for a Service Advisor who can combine their knowledge of motor vehicles with excellent communication and customer service skills to keep a busy service operation running smoothly and efficiently.

The Opportunity

As a Service Advisor, smooth daily operation of the Service Reception working within a strong team environment and delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers by way of exceptional communication.

Key Responsibilities

• To control and maximize service & repair bookings. Interpreting customer's requirements in a courteous and efficient manner to ensure that all resources required in completing the work are available on schedule
• Support and maintain customer’s service schedules, MOT and O Licence requirements.
• Audit job cards (work orders) and associated service documentation for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures.
• Ensure Service / Inspection Documentation are correctly completed and customer defect procedures adhered to.
• Assist in maintaining a daily flow of quality job cards to Administration for costing/invoicing.
• Ensure Health & Safety and safe work practices are met at all times within this positions working environment.
• Check and issue sublet order numbers to specialist / external agents and to arrange / plan such works as required
• Respond to telephone and walk-in enquiries by greeting customer with the appropriate salutation
• To validate & update DMS marketing records for existing customers or create record for new customers
• To raise job cards for each vehicle, ensuring that all required supporting documentation/checks have been completed and recorded
• To promote other services and products to customer as appropriate
• To liaise effectively with all the service advisors, parts staff and workshop controller

• Excellent organisational skills
• Ideally a Technical Awareness will be required so as to be able to provide basic advice and estimates to customers, this may not necessarily have been gained within the Commercial Vehicle sector of the Motor Vehicle Industry
• Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, sets high standards for quality and quantity, monitor and maintain quality and productivity, work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way, consistently achieve project goals
• Technical awareness of motor vehicles, analytical and administrative skills
• An ability to work as a team player within a busy department

• Initiates and generates activity and introduces changes into work processes. Makes quick, clear decisions which may include tough choices or considered risks
• Develops job knowledge and expertise (theoretical and practical) through continual professional development, demonstrating an understanding of different organisational departments and functions.
• Ability to use all appropriate modules of the DMS, particularly workshop loading and point of sale
• Should possess strong self-organisational skills
• Ability to work calmly in an environment that can be pressured
