Job summary

Confidential in Wokingham is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our aftersales team on a Monday–Friday schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional dealership that prioritises exceptional customer service and a healthy work-life balance.

The role includes booking servicing, MOTs, diagnostics and repairs, preparing estimates, and liaising with workshop staff to monitor progress while keeping customers informed and ensuring smooth handovers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
• Experience using dealer management systems is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide a professional, friendly service.
• Book vehicles in for servicing, MOTs, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Prepare accurate estimates and explain work required in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
• Liaise with workshop technicians to monitor repair progress.
• Keep customers updated throughout the service process.
• Obtain authorisation for additional work where required.
• Produce invoices and arrange smooth vehicle handovers.
• Promote additional products and services where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records using the dealer management system.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards.
