• Previous Service Advisor experience within the motor trade.

• Commercial awareness to promote additional work and services.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and resolve queries.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout servicing and repairs.
• Welcome customers and discuss servicing and repair requirements.
• Manage bookings, enquiries and service appointments.
• Liaise with Technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Keep customers updated on progress throughout the day.
• Explain repair needs clearly and professionally.
• Provide accurate estimates for servicing and repairs.
• Obtain authorisation for additional work identified during inspections.
• Promote Aftersales products and services.
• Record and update customer/vehicle information in dealership systems.
• Prepare and process repair orders per procedures.
• Ensure invoicing is accurate and timely.
• Coordinate vehicle collection and delivery.
• Ensure warranty documentation is completed and processed.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Work toward departmental customer service and sales targets.
• Build strong relationships with customers for repeat business.

Salary: £30,000 Basic Salary - £35,000 OTE + Company Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a well-established automotive dealer group in Winchester who are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy Aftersales team.

Our client represents a combination of established and exciting new automotive brands, offering customers a diverse range of vehicles, including the latest petrol, hybrid and electric models. Working within a busy multi-brand dealership, you will be part of an experienced Aftersales team committed to delivering excellent customer service.

As a Service Advisor, you will play an important role in managing the customer journey throughout the Aftersales process, working closely with the workshop to ensure customers receive an excellent level of service from initial booking through to vehicle collection.

Responsibilities of the Service Advisor:

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle servicing and repair journey
• Welcome customers into the dealership and discuss their servicing and repair requirements
• Manage customer bookings, enquiries and service appointments
• Liaise closely with Technicians and the Workshop team to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles throughout the day
• Explain repair and maintenance requirements clearly and professionally
• Provide accurate estimates for servicing, maintenance and repair work
• Gain customer authorisation for additional work identified during inspections
• Promote relevant Aftersales products and additional services
• Ensure all customer and vehicle information is accurately recorded and updated on dealership systems
• Prepare and process repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer procedures
• Ensure invoicing is completed accurately and within agreed timescales
• Coordinate vehicle collection and delivery arrangements
• Ensure warranty documentation is accurately completed and processed
• Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Work towards departmental customer service and sales targets
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
