Position: AutoCAD Technician / Estimator

Location: Wednesbury

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

AutoCAD Technician / Estimator required for a well-established engineering contractor within the HVAC sector based in the Wednesbury area. Due to continued success, they are seeking an enthusiastic AutoCAD Technician / Estimator to join the team.

Overview

• Creating 2D installation drawings with the use of AutoCAD, for projects relating to air handling units, ductwork and attenuators for example
• Providing accurate and detailed estimates on projects
• Liaising closely with the project and design teams
• Develop relationships with suppliers
• Assisting with project handovers and logging information in the CRM system
• Providing updates on lead times for works

Requirements

• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Qualifications within mechanical engineering are advantageous
• Based in a commutable distance of Wednesbury
• Estimating & CAD experience within a relevant industry
• Good communications skills
• Computer literate in Microsoft Excel and Word

Remuneration

• Starting salary £35,000 - £40,000
• Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30. Permanent position
• 25 Days Holiday, plus bank holidays
