The role involves plotting 2D drawings, post-processing laser scan data, and managing databases. Responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Surveyor with timely delivery of technical drawings.
  • Post-process laser scan data.
  • Plot drawings in 2D AutoCAD.
  • Maintain databases and filing systems.
  • Liaise with staff, suppliers, and clients.
  • Undertake site surveys using surveying instruments.

Permanent, Location - Henley-on-Thames - (Office Based)

Salary - Negotiable Depending on Experience

Established in 2018, they have expanded rapidly and now provide the highest quality measured surveys and 3D scanning outputs for residential and small commercial properties.

This business uses cutting-edge technology, including an innovative online lead capture process that provides clients with instant quotes, setting them apart from competitors. Their client base includes architects, contractors, surveyors, home builders, and private homeowners, and they currently deliver a minimum of 12 surveys per month with ambitions to triple this output during 2025.

Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties
  • Supporting the Lead Surveyor in ensuring all technical drawings are provided on time and to the quality expected of survey drawings
  • Post-processing laser scan data (training provided)
  • Plotting drawings in 2D AutoCAD (plans, elevations, sections, topographical information)
  • Maintaining databases and filing systems
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
  • Attend Weekly team meetings/ Review/ Growth strategy contribution
  • Undertaking site surveys using survey instruments such as Leica Total Stations, Trimble X7 and GNSS equipment
Experience & Qualification
  • Technical drawing in residential property experience is essential
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Understanding of Point Cloud Data or Surveying data Ideal
  • Good organisation, communication and file management skills
  • Technologically savvy with a good working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Work both autonomously and as part of a team
