Salary Scale: up to £100 a day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temp to Perm

GSL Education are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for one of our client Primary schools in Tower Hamlets, East London. The school is looking for someone who can start ASAP and has experience working with ASD individuals and small groups of Autistic children.

About Autism Teaching Assistant Role
  • You will be working closely in Year 6 to motivate and encourage ASD children to reach their full potential.
  • Supporting children with special educational needs
  • Provide 1:1 individual support for a range of Autistic children
Ideal candidates
  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
  • Be able to support pupils who have Autism
  • Have basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children
  • Have knowledge and able to implement strategies to support ASD children
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
