Overview

Are you a driven individual with a passion for supporting young people or adults with special educational needs? We are seeking two SEND Teaching Assistants who have experience of supporting individuals who are autistic. This is a long-term opportunity to make a significant difference to the lives of wonderful young people. Based in West Bromwich, you will be supporting young primary aged pupils with SEND needs.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with SEND and autism in a primary setting, aiding learning activities and daily classroom routines.
  • Assist with behaviour management, safeguarding, and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and the designated consultant from Axcis to plan and deliver effective support.
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting individuals who are autistic or with SEND
  • Willingness to undergo DBS checks and other mandatory compliance checks in line with DfE guidelines
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and availability for a face-to-face interview
