A leading legal consultancy in the UK is seeking Audit specialists with local government experience to join their team. The role, which is primarily home-based, involves providing proactive advice to the Board and managing audit-related matters. Candidates must be CCAB qualified accountants with expertise in the local audit regime. Salary ranges from £69,400 to £84,800 with excellent benefits.
My client is looking to recruit 3 Audit specialists, with Local Government experience, to join their team on either a permanent or an 18 month fixed term basis. Working as part of a team of 6 specialist auditors, your role will be to provide proactive advice/information to the Board, Committees, and colleagues including the contract management team on relevant audit-related matters. You will also deliver timely guidance on emerging developments, ensuring that the organisation integrates the latest audit requirements and best practices into their respective areas of responsibility.
To be considered for the role you will need to be a CCAB qualified accountant with technical knowledge of local audit regime and local government audit.
The role is mainly home-based with some travel to the London office when required. The salary range is £69,400 to £84,800 + excellent benefits.
