Job description
Overview

We are eager to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic candidates to join our large, diverse Audiology Department. The successful candidate will work as part of a committed team delivering a high‑quality booking and scheduling service within the Division Head and Neck.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure patients are seen/treated in a timely manner in accordance with the Trust Access Policy and waiting‑list principles.
  • Manage all clinics to maximum capacity, escalating shortfalls in line with agreed SOPs.
  • Outcome and action all clinic activity promptly to prevent unnecessary open registrations.
  • Use the electronic patient record system HIVE to review the patient task list and proactively manage patient pathways in line with national targets.
  • Contribute to the provision and smooth running of front‑of‑house/reception service, ensuring customer‑service needs are met; staff supervision may be required.
