Job description

Cirencester College is looking to recruit a number of enthusiastic Attendance Officers to join our friendly, supportive team. Attendance is the key factor in academic success and as a member of the support staff, you would play a pivotal role in supporting our learners to achieve during their academic studies by monitoring and encouraging full attendance.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, have great communication skills and excellent team working skills. You will be contacting parents, carers, external and students, to identify any issues affecting attendance and making internal and external referrals to help overcome those issues.

  • Has a good level of general education, including GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 / C orli>
  • Has a positive interest in working with young people and is a confident communicator.
  • Has the ability to work calmly.
  • Is efficient at record keeping.
  • Efficient user of computer systems, including Teams and Outlook.
