Overview

Job Title: Assurance Administrator (With Succession Opportunity)

Department: Assurance

Reports to: Manager of Assurance

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Administrator to support our Quality Control engineering team in coordinating inspection activities, managing non conformance report (NCR) closeout processes, and contributing to the continuous development and improvement of our quality management system. This role is also centred on a succession planning opportunity to progress to Management Systems Engineer/ Custodian.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection Activity Coordination: Coordinate and schedule inspection activities with Quality Control engineers and production teams; maintain inspection calendars and ensure timely completion of quality checks; prepare and distribute inspection documentation and checklists; track inspection results and maintain accurate records; communicate inspection schedules and requirements to relevant stakeholders.
  • NCR Management and Closeout: Support the NCR process from initiation through closeout; track NCR status and ensure timely resolution; coordinate with various departments to implement corrective actions; maintain NCR/MRB database and generate status reports; follow up on outstanding NCRs and escalate as necessary; verify completion of corrective actions and document closeout.
  • Quality Management System Support: Assist in the development, review, and revision of quality procedures and work instructions; support internal quality audits; maintain quality documentation and ensure version control; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives; help identify opportunities for process improvements; support training coordination for quality-related procedures.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain quality metrics and prepare regular reports; manage quality-related correspondence and communications; support document control activities; assist with customer quality requirements and submissions.
