The Role

To lead the hotel’s Food & Beverage operation, ensuring excellent service, high standards, and strong commercial performance. As Duty Manager, you will also oversee day-to-day hotel operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service, safety, and an outstanding guest experience. You will be highly visible, proactive, and capable of managing both people and operational priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • The Food & Beverage operation meets or exceeds revenue, cost, and guest satisfaction targets.
  • Guests consistently receive excellent service in all outlets and at events.
  • The Duty Manager role ensures smooth daily operations across the hotel during shifts.
  • Teams are well led, motivated, and fully understand their roles and expectations.
  • A clean, safe, and well‑presented food and beverage operation at all times.
  • Accurate reporting of revenue, costs, and operational performance to senior management.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, F&B Manager or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • In‑depth knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Cellar Management Skills – be able to manage and maintain hotel standards.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

The Redcliffe has 70 ensuite rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness suite and 2 seaside restaurants. The Redcliffe has many unique features, including direct access to the beach via a tunnel. Over the coming months an extensive redevelopment programme is being undertaken to transform The Redcliffe into an opulent and luxurious place to stay.
