A top-tier law firm in Cardiff is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate in Housing Management to join their Dispute Resolution team. The candidate will provide expert legal advice on housing management issues, represent clients in court, and manage case loads. Associate / Senior Associate - Housing Management - Cardiff - 4+ Years PQE
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)

A Tier 1 ranked Housing Management team is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Dispute Resolution department in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded team, advising registered social landlords and local authority clients across Wales and England on a wide range of housing management issues.

The Role
  • Providing expert legal advice on tenancy enforcement, succession, possession, disrepair claims, homelessness, and anti‑social behaviour.
  • Representing clients in County Court hearings and undertaking advocacy.
  • Drafting court documents, negotiating settlements, and advising clients on complex housing matters.
  • Supervising and supporting solicitors, case managers, and paralegals.
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as an extension of client teams.
Candidate Requirements
  • 4+ years PQE in housing management or landlord and tenant law.
  • Experience managing a caseload of housing disputes.
  • Court advocacy experience (desirable).
  • Experience supervising junior colleagues and managing workflows.
  • Excellent client care skills and ability to work in a busy, collaborative team.
  • Own transport to meet the advocacy requirements of the role.
