This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor and/or Senior Associate to handle a diverse range of transactions, provide expert legal advice, and grow their career within a team that values development, collaboration, and real work-life balance.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a range of residential property work, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold/freehold matters, plot sales, and buy-to-let.
  • Give practical legal advice to clients and guide them through the process from start to finish.
  • Work with lenders, estate agents, surveyors, and other parties to keep transactions moving smoothly.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other property documents, making sure everything is legally sound.
  • Support and mentor junior team members on cases and legal issues.
  • Keep accurate records, track progress, and make sure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a seamless service for clients.
  • Help grow the business through networking, client relationships, and cross-selling services.
  • Stay up to date with property law and market changes to give the best advice.
Experience & Qualifications Required
  • Qualified solicitor or equivalent with at least 3 years post-qualification experience in residential property
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on client care and satisfaction
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to handle a varied and demanding caseload while maintaining exceptional client service
  • Knowledge of the latest developments in residential property law and conveyancing processes
