A well-respected and long-established cost consultancy is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their high-performing team in Central London. This is a standout opportunity for an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on major commercial and mixed-use developments across London and the Southeast, working directly with prestigious clients and contributing to high-value, complex schemes.

The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will manage projects from inception to completion, oversee junior staff, and play an integral role in client relationships and business development. With a flat structure and hands‑on directors, this consultancy offers a clear route to senior leadership, autonomy over your own projects, and a collaborative, professional working culture.

Associate Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading project delivery across pre- and post-contract stages
  • Managing client relationships and attending key stakeholder meetings
  • Overseeing junior team members and supporting their development
  • Providing accurate cost advice and financial reporting
  • Administering contracts (JCT & NEC) and managing change control
  • Driving business development and contributing to fee proposals
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (RICS accredited)
  • MRICS qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years’ consultancy experience in the UK
  • Strong knowledge of UK construction contracts and procurement routes
  • Proven ability to manage projects and lead client-facing duties
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
