Overview

Associate Project Manager (Highways) – Permanent – North Yorkshire or West Yorkshire. Salary £55,000 - £70,000 per year + benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Highways projects using JCT and NEC contracts, covering public and private sector highways infrastructure projects.
• Assist with tender applications; agree contract terms; prepare contract documents.
• Attend and lead meetings; discuss and resolve issues such as defective works, contract term ambiguity and other disputes as required.
• Support the finance team with project financial management.
• Manage and administer NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification(s) in Construction Project Management or Construction Management.
• Experience working on both public and private highways, infrastructure and/or civil engineering projects with NEC3 or NEC4 forms of contracts.
• Experience delivering a portfolio of contracts valued at £5m or over.
• Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills; technical report writing skills; pre- and post-contract knowledge.
• Full UK driving license with vehicle; ability to work both as a team and independently under your own initiative.
