Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Hull and East Riding Intermediate Care Community Team, as a Generic Therapy Associate Practitioner. You will work as part of a Multi-disciplinary team to provide Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy input to patients who require community Intermediate Care rehabilitation across Hull and East Riding.

Responsibilities
  • Work with both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists as well as independently under the guidance of a Therapist.
  • Receive training and work towards competencies in both professions; continue to receive training and support to enable you to deliver high quality therapy interventions.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience of working with people with physical problems within the community or hospital settings is helpful.
  • Essential that you are a car driver and have basic IT skills.
  • You will be supported by a well-established and very experienced Multidisciplinary Team and will receive supervision and support from the Advanced Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist.
  • The successful candidate will be working in an organisation that values service and excellence, supports creativity and innovation, and provides CPD opportunities.
  • Part time position (3 days a week) with weekend working and late shifts to support service delivery 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm.
  • Where relevant, there may be opportunities to work in other areas.
