This role is critical in ensuring the conclusion of the development lifecycle runs smoothly, maintaining and strengthening those relationships. By ensuring sites are prepared correctly and transactions run smoothly you will help deliver the high standards clients expect.
What you’ll do

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse and high‑quality caseload within a collaborative, ambitious and supportive team environment.

  • Develop your expertise in technical site set‑ups.
  • Manage a varied and strategic caseload including affordable/shared ownership schemes and high‑volume high‑value transactions for national housebuilders.
  • Draft legal packs and documentation for plot sales transactions.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure smooth transactions from start to finish.
  • Gain exposure to commercial elements of conveyancing through acting for high‑quality developer clients.
  • Work closely with national housebuilders, regional developers and registered providers.
  • Develop further technical expertise in shared ownership and new build work.
What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Solicitor / CILEX Lawyer with Practice Rights / Licensed Conveyancer to join our nationally recognised Plot Sales team.

  • Up to 2 years PQE and a current practising certificate.
  • Experience in plot sales or new build conveyancing.
  • Ability to handle technical work and a willingness to learn more complex aspects of setting up new build development sites for sales and shared ownership disposals.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and resilience under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • A collaborative mindset – we operate as one team with shared goals across all conveyancing services.
