Overview

As the Assistant Wellbeing and Fitness Manager, you will play a key role within the Champneys family and will be responsible for assisting the manager in the day to day running of the fitness department and the club facilities with a personal interest in all club members and residential guests.

Responsibilities

• You will be a visible presence on the shop floor, carrying out classes, personal training sessions and educational talks as set by the Fitness Manager.
• You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the enjoyment and welfare of guests and members in accordance with the Company's health and safety policy and current legislation.
• Assist in designing the goals and objectives by implementing the necessary policies and procedures and communicate it to the staff members
• Review the staffing requirement with the manager and promptly hire fitness trainers and provide them with the necessary training
• Communicate with the clients constantly and understand their needs so that new programs can be designed to improve it
• Implement promotional club campaigns, sales initiatives and conduct personal training sessions that would be able to attract more clients, thus increasing the overall sales of the facility

Requirements / Qualifications

• As the Assistant Wellbeing and Fitness Manager, you will have significant previous leadership experience in a role in the fitness and wellbeing industry, providing high quality customer service.
• You will have an equivalent of a REPS 3 gym instructor qualification plus a minimum of one of the following: Group Exercise related qualification, Personal Training Award or Sports/Fitness related Degree.
