Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and inspire your team to deliver an exemplary customer journey. You will work closely with the Store Manager to implement the commercial plan to grow the business.

You will be involved in customer service, store operations and clinical activities including patient pre-screening, dispensing and accuracy checks. You will manage rotas and performance reviews, and participate in our training and leadership programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a customer facing role.
• Desire to learn.
• Led or coached a team.
• Experience working in a clinical environment (advantage)

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire your team to deliver an exemplary customer journey.
• Involve in customer service, store operations and clinical activities including patient pre-screening, dispensing and accuracy checks.
• Manage rotas, conduct return-to-work reviews and performance management.
