Boots Opticians in Lowestoft is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team and deliver an exceptional customer journey across the store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to implement the commercial plan and drive improvements across operations, including clinical activities such as patient pre-screening and dispensing.

The role offers leadership training and a structured path to develop your clinical knowledge and management capabilities within Boots Opticians.

Qualifications

• GOC registered and eligible to practice.
• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Experience leading or coaching a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to deliver an exemplary customer journey.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to deliver the commercial plan and drive store growth.
• Manage store operations and clinical activities including patient pre-screening, dispensing, and accuracy checks.
• Create and maintain rotas, conduct return to work reviews and performance management.
