A prominent construction company in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join their Southern team. The role includes managing design developments for projects valued between £5million to £60million and involves substantial stakeholder liaison. The organization prides itself on a supportive working environment with a solid commitment to training and career development opportunities. Ideal for individuals looking to transition from site management into design aspects of construction.
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Contractor who build medium sized projects through to some of the largest and most recognisable in the South. The company has a turnover of £650million and their name is recognised within the marketplace as delivering projects to the highest quality on time and budget.
Due to an internal promotion, they currently have a requirement for an Assistant Design Manager to join the Southern team. Projects are typically valued £5million through to £60million and will cover a wide range of interesting projects.
They have previously trained Site Managers who have been looking for a career change and have found this to be very successful.
With one of the best training programs in the UK and one of the lowest turnovers of staff on the South Coast, this should be seen as a long term career opportunity.
If you are looking to move away from site management and be involved with the Design aspects of construction, both pre‑construction and live projects please feel free to contact me for more information.
The last Design Manager I placed is still there 9 years later. As a company they will offer a friendly working environment, skyline changing projects and a continuous workload.
