We are recruiting an Assistant Site Manager for a flagship development of over 200 new homes in West Lothian with one of the UK\'s most respected housebuilders. The Role

As Assistant Site Manager, you\'ll support the Site Manager with all day-to-day site activities, ensuring the build programme is met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You\'ll help drive progress across trades and subcontractors, maintaining strong communication and attention to detail throughout the build process.

  • Assisting with site management to deliver each phase of the programme on time and on budget.
  • Supervising trades and labour, coordinating daily activity, and resolving issues on site.
  • Upholding the highest standards of Health & Safety, NHBC requirements, and Building Regulations.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the wider team.
  • Supporting handovers and ensuring excellent customer care.
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience as an Assistant Site Manager or in a similar site leadership role.
  • A background in housebuilding, ideally with timber kit experience.
  • NVQ level qualification in Construction Management (or equivalent), or time-served in trades with proven supervisory experience.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to lead, motivate, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
