Job description

Gortmore are looking for an Assistant Site Engineer for a long-term project in Cambridge area. This is an ideal opportunity to gain first-hand experience working with an experienced site and engineering team.

• Assist Site Engineer in accurately setting out.
• Assist in carrying out As builts on Auto Cad, QA, TQ’s, etc.
• Ensure H&S documentation is correct and filed / uploaded correctly.
• Prepare and update weekly progress report.
• Prepare / manage Daily briefing, tool box talks, RAMS.
• Manage live logs such as Concrete test cube results, monitoring requirements, Waterproofing requirements, building control inspections, etc.
• Manage shared site device and ensure drawings are updated and superseded accordingly.
• Get trained in using Robotic EDM’s, Laser Levels, Auto Cad, etc.
• Maintain site diary and upload drawing to shared server
