Job summary

A Healthcare Provider in Greater London is looking for an Assistant Psychologist for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will be involved in assessments, care plan implementation, and delivering psychological programmes. The ideal candidate is degree qualified in Psychology, preferably with experience in healthcare and a passion for interdisciplinary teamwork. Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent.
  • BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited.
  • Experience in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to assessments, scoring, and reporting.
  • Implement care plans for psychological treatment.
  • Deliver and evaluate individual/group programmes.

Assistant Psychologist – Cygnet Blackheath

Working Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00.

Please note, this is a 6 month fixed term contract.

Cygnet Hospital Blackheath provides inpatient low secure and PICU services for men with a mental health illness.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Contributing to assessments, scoring and reporting (verbal / written)
  • Clinical formulation and implementing care plans for psychological treatment
  • Planning, delivering and evaluating individual / group programmes
  • Administration, audit, research and service development
We're looking for someone who is…
  • Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
  • BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
  • Preferably experienced in health care and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
  • Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Qualified to Master's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
