Assistant Project Manager

Your day-to-day might look like

  • Supporting multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects in line with established frameworks
  • Helping manage stakeholder requirements, ensuring clear objectives and acceptance criteria
  • Monitoring project performance, risks and issues, and contributing to lessons learned
  • Working with Project Controls to maintain accurate schedules, baselines and reporting
  • Assisting with compliance, quality, cost and schedule management
  • Helping adapt plans and priorities to meet operational challenges
  • Contributing to the development of project delivery approaches and toolsets
  • Supporting budget, scope and schedule control across assigned work packages
  • Assisting with risk mitigation, opportunity identification and change management (including NEC4 processes)

What we’re looking for in our next Assistant Project Manager

  • Degree or professional qualification in Project Management (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting the delivery of construction or engineering projects
  • Understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practice
  • Exposure to regulated or complex project environments (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • A proactive, organised approach with a willingness to learn and develop
