Assistant Principal Lawyer – Planning & Regeneration

A local authority shared service is seeking an Assistant Principal Lawyer- Planning & Regeneration Lawyer for an initial period of three months.

The successful Lawyer will support the Principal Lawyer and will assist with the following:

• Advise on matters arising in all areas of planning and regeneration,
• Assist with complex corporate projects,
• Advise on high profile matters, including advising elected members at council meetings,
• Act as senior liaison points for clients,
• Advise on regeneration projects, and
• Deputise in the Principal Lawyers absence.

It is essential you have previous management experience and can start on short notice. We are only able to consider candidates with a current practising certificate. Previous local government experience is highly advantageous.
