About the Role

Our client is a leading building contractor with a busy, fast‑growing workload, seeking to strengthen their team with an Assistant Preconstruction Manager. Previous experience on Student Accommodation, Hotel or Apartments projects is ideal but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support preconstruction and design coordination on Student Accommodation and Hotel projects.
  • Assist with bid management, cost estimating and scope definition.
  • Collaborate with site teams to resolve construction challenges.
  • Contribute to the development of preconstruction plans and cost schedules.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the building sector and strong communication skills.
  • Previous employment as a Design Co‑ordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager, Design Manager, Bid Manager, Preconstruction Manager, Assistant Design Manager, Architect, Architectural Technician, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Design Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineer or similar.
  • Experience on PRS, Hotels and Student Accommodation projects preferred.
  • Relevant industry qualification (Degree, HND, HNC, etc.).
