A healthcare practice in Tipton is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Practice Manager to support the management team in leading development and improving patient care. You will help in strategy formulation and ensure the efficient operation of the practice. Ideal candidates will have NHS experience. This role offers paid leave and an NHS pension option.
We are a seeking an enthusiastic assistant practice manager with management skills to support the practice manager/executive manager and partners in leading and further developing the practice.
You will be working with the practice partners and executive manager to manage the day to day running of the practice.
Experience of working in the NHS is desirable.
The Assistant Practice Manager supports the Practice Manager/Executive Manager and Partners to ensure the practice meets its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment, and to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care. The Assistant Practice Manager will support the practice team through any change needed in the provision of changing patient care via the practice, and as part of the wider NHS via the practice network.

The Assistant Practice Manager will support in keeping abreast of current affairs and identify potential threats and opportunities.
Develop and support to lead on the practice strategy; formulate objectives and research and develop ideas for future practice development.
Assist in developing and updating the practice business plan to ensure the business meets its aims and objectives and implement and manage any change required.
Provide leadership and management to enable the Practice to meet its agreed aims and objectives.
Monitor and evaluate performance of the practice team against objectives; identify areas for, and manage change needed.
Work collaboratively with the whole practice team to ensure the efficient running of the Practice.
Work professionally, flexibly with a practical approach which is essential in the NHS current climate of change.
Assist in ensuring that all statutory requirements are met.
Represent the practice and maintain good working relationships with all relevant outside agencies and professional bodies.
Support the practice to ensure that efficiencies are maximised across the business.
